Our Social Events  were :   Burns night, ladies festival, quiz night,


Masters Charities :  £2000 donated as follows :


We donated £1590 to other worthy causes :

  • £610 – The Somerset Flood Recovery Fund
  • £550 – Woodspring Lodge Widows
  • £320 – The British Lung Foundation
  • £100 – North Somerset Masonic Widows Association

We also donated £2073 to various Somerset PGL Funds :

  • £1000 – Somerset Provincial Grand Lodge  – 2020 Festival (Ashler)
  • £1073 – Grand Lodge Charity account

The Somerset Provincial 2020 Festival  

Each province supports The Freemasons’ Grand Charity.  The Somerset Provincial 2020 Festival  is aiming to  raise  at least £2.8 million pounds by 2020, whilst maintaining our help to our own local causes. Our last Festival was in 2007.

Recognition of amounts donated are are given to each lodge in the way of Ashlers. These are awarded  on an amount transferred to the festival fund  on the number of Masons registered with that Lodge.

1st ashler : £200 per member, 2nd ashler : £300,  3rd ashler : £400,  4th ashler : £500,   5th ashler : £700, Golden ashler : £1000.

Mike joined masonry when he was initiated into Woodspring Lodge in ??year??, passed in  ??year? and raised in ??year?? .

He was installed as Master of Woodspring on 11th October 2013.

Provincial Honours :

  • 2018 Past Provincial Assiatant Grand Director of Ceremonies (PPAGDC).
