We raised £4774.  We donated £2493

Our Social Events  were :   Burns night, ladies festival, quiz night and a horse race night.


We donated £1150 to the following worthy causes :

£370 – Somerset Provincial Grand Lodge Minibus Appeal

£650 – Woodspring Lodge Widows

£100 – North Somerset Masonic Widows Association

£300 – Royal British Legion, Congesbury

£100 – Parkinsons Society

£160 – Fragilex Society

£100 – Cadogan Court

£400 – Churchill & Banwell Cricket Club

£250 – Cots For Tots

£250 – BLISS

£50 – Weston hospice trust


We also donated £1343 to :

Somerset Provincial Grand Lodge – 2020 Festival.


The Somerset Provincial 2020 Festival  

Each province supports The Freemasons’ Grand Charity.  The Somerset Provincial 2020 Festival  is aiming to  raise  at least £2.8 million pounds by 2020, whilst maintaining our help to our own local causes. Our last Festival was in 2007.

Recognition of amounts donated are are given to each lodge in the way of Ashlers. These are awarded  on an amount transferred to the festival fund  on the number of Masons registered with that Lodge.

1st ashler : £200 per member, 2nd ashler : £300,  3rd ashler : £400,  4th ashler : £500,   5th ashler : £700, Golden ashler : £1000.


Julian Britton.

Julian joined masonry when he was initiated into Woodspring Lodge in ??year??, passed in  ??year? and raised in ??year?? .

In 2011 he became master of John De Clivedon Lodge No 7824.

A week later he became Master of Woodspring on 14th October 2011
