During the Year :

We raised £3896.11.  We donated £4978.53

Our Social Events  were :     Costumes through the Ages (February),  Cheese & Wine (January), Sunday Lunch  (March). Ladies Festival (April).


Masters Charities :  £??? donated as follows :

Alms from Installation meeting to Macmillan Nurses.


We donated £526.53 to the following worthy causes :

  • £200 – Woodspring Lodge widows
  • £50 – North Somerset Masonic Widows association
  • £200 – Yatton football club
  • £76.53 – CLIC

We also donated £4452 to various Somerset PGL Funds :

  • £4030 – Somerset Provincial Grand Lodge  – 2007 Festival (Acorns)
  • £ 250 – Somerset PLG E2051 fund
  • £128 – PGL Christmas cards
  • £74 – PGL Clock Raffle

“From Nov ’03 Advisory minutes : £16,500 had been paid into to 2007 Festival – giving Woodspring its 2nd Acorn”.

Information obtained from Advisory Minutes

  • November 2003 : £1,500 transferred to 2007 Festival Fund.  Current total is £16500.  Sufficient for our 2nd Ashler.
  • December 2003 : £50 to N.Somerset Widows Association
  • March 2004 : £1000 transferred to the 2007 Festival Fund.
  • May 2004 : Sunday Lunch raised £277,  Ladies Festival raised £213
